Terms of Service

Last updated: August 17, 2026

1. About mura

Mura is a marketplace connecting businesses with creators for user-generated content campaigns in Rwanda and other supported markets. These Terms govern your access to and use of the mura platform.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Campaigns and applications

Businesses are responsible for accurate briefs, lawful campaign requirements, available budgets, and timely review. Creators are responsible for truthful profiles, original work, permissions, and meeting agreed deadlines. Mura may remove campaigns or content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

4. Content and rights

You retain ownership of content you create unless a campaign agreement says otherwise. By submitting content, you grant the business the rights expressly agreed in that campaign. Do not upload content you do not have permission to use.

5. Payments

Fees, creator payments, refunds, and withdrawals are shown in the applicable campaign or transaction record. Payment processing may depend on third-party providers and local verification requirements. Mura may suspend transactions where fraud, disputes, or legal obligations require it.

6. Prohibited use

You may not impersonate another person, manipulate metrics, submit copied or unlawful content, bypass security, abuse other users, or use mura for fraud, harassment, discrimination, or illegal activity.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The platform is provided on an availability basis. Mura does not guarantee campaign results, creator reach, or uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, mura is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, or remain inactive as permitted by law. You may stop using the platform at any time; outstanding lawful obligations remain in effect.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will publish the revised version here. Questions can be sent to legal@mura.rw.
